The PRESTO BLACK finish is a low cost way to achieve good corrosion protection and enhance sales appeal. Once sealed this products resist up to 1,200 hours humidity test without chipping or peeling.

Process

Process 1: Cleaning

Product: Presto Kleen | Powdered cleaner. High oil-holding capacity.
Product: Safe Scrub | Liquid cleaner. Full cleaning power in an easy -to- handle product.
Rinsing | Cold Water.

Process 2: Condition Surface

Product: Presto Prep P2 | Mild acidic activator, conditions the surface prior to blackening, for PRESTO BLACK line.
Product: oxyprime | For TRU TEMP process Full cleaning power in an easy -to- handle product.
Rinsing | Cold Water

Process 3: Blackening

Product: Presto Black MKP | Blackening concentrate, easy to operate and controlK
Product: Presto Black RPL | It recuperates the bath´s properties
Product: TRU TEMP | Concentrate operates at 200 F
Rinsing | Cold Water

Process 5: Sealant

Product: DRI TOUCH IRP-3 (solvent based) | Non-oily rust preventive. Ideal for long-term storage or shipment 1000+hrs humidity.
Product: DRI TOUCH IRP-1 (solvent based) | Super fast penetrant, which protects any bare metal surface 500+hrs. humidity.
Product: Satin Shield SS10 (water based) | Acrylic wax sealant. Recommended for parts requiring gloss finish.
